Our focus also includes nurturing a non-Windows, open-source community - a place where developers and students of technology are able to congregate and share information. For the most part, we don't support closed-source technologies because they tend to be expensive, hard to maintain and less than optimal in their performance. It's nothing personal, it's just difficult to develop code when you can't see what you're dealing with.
